Subject: [Math4u] What is the defintion of mathematics? What is the beauty of mathematics?
I was thinking about these things this morning and I am curious about
what you people feel about these questions.
What is the defintion of mathematics?
What is the beauty of mathematics?
How do you make students interested in mathematics? (through the its
applications, beauty... ...?)
I feel that mathematics is like a tree which is deeply rooted in the
world. It has two main branches which are numbers and shapes. In
addition, it constantly branches out into new areas as time passes.
Every branch and leaf is different and unique in its own way.
